Studying French at AS/A Level (or equivalent) and fancy a weekend away to the City of Light?

The University of London Institute in Paris’ (ULIP) annual Win a Trip to Paris competition is now open for students of AS/A-Level French (or equivalent)! The weekend offers the perfect chance to explore the French capital, try out your taste for croissants, and see what it might be like to live and study for your undergraduate degree in one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities.

With the XVIIth Summit of the Francophonie recently ending, this year's competition focuses on the richness of the French language. Listen to Professor Cerquiglini, renowned French linguist, and share his thoughts about la Francophonie. For your chance to spend a weekend in Paris, simply watch the video below and answer a few questions before midnight UK time 31 January 2019.

  • The winner receives two second-class, non-flexible return tickets to Paris (worth up to £400 maximum), as well as two nights of three-star accommodation in the Hotel de France, Invalides.
  • Two runners-up each receive one £50 gift card for Blackwell UK, also known as Blackwell’s and Blackwell Group.
  • Teachers can get involved too. The member of teaching staff who encourages the most applications will win un coffret cadeau, or gift hamper, from Fauchon worth €75.

Entrants must be studying French at AS/A Level or equivalent and be at least 16 years old.

Terms and conditions apply.
