Before joining the University of London Institute in Paris in 2011, I lived and worked in the United States, Canada and France; mainly in university libraries but also in an AIDS education centre, and for the National Library of Medicine on a health advocacy project.
Growing up in Canada, I know how simultaneously difficult and rewarding the path to bilingualism can be. It is such a privilege to live in Paris and be a part of our students’ adventure of discovery. Like every librarian, I encourage curiosity, tenacity and imagination.
