Dear Students, Colleagues and Friends

The University of London Institute in Paris (ULIP) traces its roots back to the 19th century and has been an important part of French-British academic relations throughout its history. British students have been studying at the University of London Institute in Paris since long before Britain’s entry into the EU and will continue to do so long after the results of today’s news.

Over the past century, ULIP students from around the world have been able to learn and grow into broad-minded citizens of the world. We will continue to guide our students and develop the core areas of our expertise to ensure that the University of London offers opportunities to British, EU and international students to obtain the best of a British education on the continent of Europe.

As part of our strategy to develop new programmes for students studying in Paris, this year we are launching a new department in international relations and politics in partnership with Queen Mary University of London. The three areas of excellence we offer of modern languages and culture; international relations and law are highly relevant for the UK and for Europe and will be increasingly so as Europe develops new systems, new relationships and new business models.
