Join us for our online Q&A with current undergraduate students to find out more about student life at ULIP.
You will have the opportunity to engage with current students, studying both in our French Studies and International Politics programmes. They will start off with a 20-minute presentation to cover some of the most common questions that you may have. This will then be followed by a 20-minute chat session during which you can post additional questions for them to answer.
Meet the students:
Catherine, 3rd year BA in French Studies with History
"I live just outside Paris in a lovely southern suburb and I enjoy visiting museums and other places of historical interest, which is why I started my own society: the Paris Appreciation Society. I am also the SU Secretary, a role I thoroughly enjoy."
Maddie, 2nd year BA in French Studies with Business
"Among the many things I enjoy about Paris, I enjoy trying out all of the different food it has to offer especially in summer when I can picnic in one of the city's many parks. I also love going to museums when I have the chance, my favourites being Musée d’Orsay and l’Orangerie."
Joe, 1st year BA in French Studies with International Relations
"I’m really interested in contemporary international politics and race and identity relations. I’m originally from south London, but at the moment I live in Boulogne which I really enjoy because I get to live with loads of other 1st years which has helped me get used to Paris a lot better. We’ve got our own little community."
Billie, 1st year BA in International Politics
"I'm lucky enough to live in a studio within walking distance from ULIP. One of my favourite things about living in Paris is the access to talks by different political speakers, and the customary wine receptions that follow! "
Please note that if you are joining us from the UK, the event will take place at 5:30 pm UK time. You will need to register ahead on our platform to access the online presentation and chat.
