Join us for our first ever online Urban History and Culture taster course with Dr Anna-Louise Milne, programme convenor and Director of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of London Institute in Paris. This course will answer the following questions: How does the poet Charles Baudelaire offer us a way into understanding the contested nature of public space in Second Empire Paris? And what insights do we gain from this historical perspective into the challenges experienced today in cities, where the “right to the city” is an issue for all of us and particularly for marginalized populations?
This will be a 30-minute lecture delivered in English and will be followed by a 30-minute live Q&A session where you will be able to ask any questions you may have about our MA in Urban History and Culture programme.
Please note, that if you are joining us from the UK the event takes will take place at 5:00 pm GMT. You will need to register ahead on our I-vent platform to access the online course.
